This 560 acre site offers you an unforgettable
experience among the giant redwoods. The park offers 6
miles of trails including leisurely walks and strenuous

MOUNT TAMALPAIS STATE PARK
Mt. Tam, as it is affectionately called, reaches 2,571
feet above the Pacific Ocean, giving visitors
spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean coastline, San
Francisco and the bay. Hiking and biking are the two
most popular activities. Additionally, there is ample
picnic areas and a hillside amphitheatre (with annual

SONOMA/NAPA VALLEY WINE COUNTRY

PT. REYES STATION (just 12
miles north of the hotel) has resisted development and
the community retains a romantic, small-town atmosphere.
MILL VALLEY (downtown is just 2
miles from the hotel)
This quaint cozy town stands in the shadow of Mt. Tam,
and has a charm all its own, with its antique stores,
bookstores, theatre, nightclub, art galleries and cafes.
MARIN HEADLANDS ( just 2 miles
from the hotel)
The Marin Headlands was a former military post that is
now an urban national park. Some of the most dramatic
views of San Francisco can be seen from its hillsides.
This 12,000 acre, situated just north of the Golden Gate
Bridge, is a great spot for hiking and biking. Today
visitors can tour the Point Bonita Lighthouse, Rodeo
Beach, several fabulous look-out points and the remains
of the American Armed Forces defense batteries built
during the World Wars to defend the San Francisco Bay
Area.
TIBURON (just 8 miles north of
the hotel)
Just a short ferry ride from downtown San Francisco (for
those tourist who would rather not drive in the city),
this charming and historic nautical town is a tourist's
delight and home to some of the best views of San
Francisco. Unique shops and al fresco dining invite you
to spend the afternoon exploring the quaint downtown.
Angel Island, another historical landmark, is accessible
only by ferry from Tiburon.
ANGEL ISLAND (just 8 miles
north of the hotel- via ferry) Angel Island, a national
park, is hilly, grassy and a heavily forested haven in
the middle of San Francisco Bay, With more than 740
acres, this state park provides spectacular views of
Marin County, San Francisco and the greater bay area.
